A Public Notary serves as an impartial witness to the signing of important legal documents. They make sure that the signers have entered into agreements knowingly and willingly. For many documents, notarization is required by law. Certain affidavits, deeds, and powers of attorney may not be legally binding unless they are properly notarized.
